Cam Flanagan
Co-President
Cam completed his undergraduate degree at McGill University where he studied Political Science. He co-founded the CLG because this evolving area of law, which straddles both litigious and transactional work, and criminal and civil law, has significant effects on Canadian society.
Vlad Mirel
Co-President
Vlad holds a bachelor degree from the University of Ottawa in Political Science and Economics, International Relations and Affairs. There, he became particularly interested in market competition and how anti-competitive practices impact the economy, which inspired him to be a co-founder of the CLG.
Tomas Vine
VP of Finance
Tomas graduated from McMaster University's Integrated Business and Humanities program, where he was a member and exec of various business associations. His passion for macro-economics, market logistics, and firm regulation inspired him to join the CLG.
Aaditya Juvekar
VP of Communications
Aaditya holds a Bachelor degree from the University of Waterloo in Science and Business and is currently enrolled in the Faculty of Law's combined JD/MBA program. He is eager to expand his business knowledge by studying and promoting competition law.
Eden Bialik
VP of Sustainability
Eden completed her undergraduate degree at the Schulich School of Business. She joined the Competition Law Group because of her interest in the intersection of economics and the law and advancing regulations that promote market efficiency.
Olivia MacDonald
VP of Publications
Olivia completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto, doing a double major in Political Science and Psychology. She has extensive extracurricular experience involving activism and social justice, so she joined the CLG to broaden her horizons and explore this growing area of law.
Paul Buzzelli
VP of Publications
Paul graduated from McMaster University, majoring in Justice, Political Philosophy, and Law, and minoring in Commerce. He has a passion for sports agency and contract negotiation, and he is eager to apply this passion for the world of business to the ever-evolving field of competition law.
Ashley Kam
VP Internal
Ashley completed her undergraduate degree in Economics and Philosophy at the University of British Columbia, where she first learned about anti-competitive practices. She is fascinated by and hopes to pursue a career in the field of Competition Law.
Megan Polishak
VP of Events and Outreach
Megan holds an AA degree in Commerce and Business Studies from Langara College and a Bcom specializing in Accounting with a concentration in Business Law from the University of British Columbia. She is excited to expand her knowledge of business law through the field of competition law.
Kabir Singh Dhillon
VP of Events and Outreach
Kabir holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia School of Business where he specialized in Supply Chain and Business Analytics. His interest in business inspired him to join the CLG to gain a deeper appreciation for this rapidly-changing area of business law.
Justin Gharibo
VP of Events and Outreach
Justin completed his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Toronto, specializing in Philosophy. He joined the CLG to broaden his knowledge and understanding of competition law as a potential area of future practice.
